I love doing custom portrait work with expecting families, newborns, families as they grow, and portraiture in general. I will always love getting to know the families, and, in many cases, remaining friends forever.
Living in "The Land of Enchantment," presenting as it does, such spectacular light for landscapes and skyscapes, I will never tire of photographing the many facets of the place I have chosen to call "Home."

But now that I have retired from Medicine and the practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology, I have time to devote to larger photographic projects as well. Busy people do not stop being busy when they "retire" from active practice in one profession. The world is too interesting! I am finding this is a time in my life when my training in Anthropology (MA with an emphasis on Southwest Studies and PhD with a major in Social Anthropology and minor in Archaeology) is re-emerging to inform my photography.
The two projects on which I am currently working are "Border Celebrations" and "The Adobe Project." Details of each are on separate pages.
Thank you for your interest in reading, and in following these projects.
