Busy Bee, Filling Corbiculae with Pollen
The pollen sacs, or corbiculae, are part of the tibia on the hind legs of certain species of bees. They fill the sacs, and then carry the pollen back to the hive. I photographed it in my garden on the morning of October 18, 2017. The bees, and other pollinators, were busy collecting what they could during an extended warm autumn. I was enjoying the garden, all the activities, and creating images.
