Nature: Butterfly on Cosmos, Severe Protanopia
"and when all the wars are over, a butterfly will still be beautiful.” ― Ruskin Bond, Scenes from a Writer's Life. This is the image pair my son selected for the first in this series. No choice by him could have pleased me more. We may see the world in very different colors, but we both appreciate the beauty around us. One of the rewards of figuring out how to do this and then doing the work is that I learned - in 2015 - that the world of my father and son is beautiful and vibrant. If I had known when my son was growing up what I know now, I would have planted more pink and purple flowers and fewer red and orange flowers.
